wicked long post... (but so worth it!)

But so necessary after a wicked awesome long weekend! Chris and I decided we wanted one more taste of winter so we took off to Killington, VT. 6" of fresh powder, we're all about it! When we hit the Vermont border we happened to see a gold Jetta pass us on the highway... funny, our photographer friends Paul and Krystal of Studiofoto drive a gold Jetta. Little did we know, it really was them and they were on their way up to Killington too!!! What a sweet suprise!! Not only did we get the chance to hang out, but I had the pleasure of being the subject of an impromptu portrait session with Krystal... right at our favorite mountain breakfast place... Johnny Boy's Pancake House while the boys were outside playing with the monster truck! It was so awesome to share some vacation time with them... Paul even got to drive the Sportsmobile... and we got to see more donuts than a cop!! Thanks Paul and Krystal... we love you guys!

These guys realized they have the same hat on!

Paul's got butter in his hand... the 85mm 1.2!

6' of snow with a 1" ice crust and 6" of fresh powder on top of that!

there was no escaping the snow!

We camped in the lot for a few days and then hit up the hotel for a night. What a perfect view (to the left of the tree, overlooking the mountains)

Kutta was like a little snow puppy... she couldn't get enough it!

we were playing on top of an 8' snow drift!

It was so cold and windy, you'd get blinded by the snow at times, cars would just disappear.

the hotel we stayed at after camping for a few nights.

Tim at the bar, remembered us from last year!

sunset was beautiful...

and the full moon set us up for a perfect night... (bottom right corner!)

Kutta was so ready to curl up in her bed and sleep all toasty and covered up!

Yea! Krystal!

Woohoo! Photo shoot!

Johnny Boy's Pancake House, Killington, VT...

Oh boy! Here we go!

How freaking cute is this girl!

I guess I'm not used to shooting with a smaller camera... seems more dainty!

The gold Jetta that started it all!

My mountain man settling up for a cozy winter night... ( I know, it's spring already, but still)
